The third movement of Suite Bergamasque is its most famous;
titled "Clair de lune", meaning moonlight. It was written
with Paul Verlaine's poem of the same name in mind. It is
mostly played pianissimo and is in D-flat major.
Dear My People...
About Chile...I'm not saying vain religiosity here but it's
good to find Biblical reference for what's going on:
"For many shall come in My name, saying, I AM, and shall
deceive many. And when you shall hear of wars and rumors of
wars, do not be troubled. For it must happen, but the end
shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be earthquakes in
different places, and there shall be famines and troubles.
These things are the beginnings of sorrows." (Mark 13:6-8)
Again, This is not "chicken little" hearsay... it might even
be coincidence. Me? I doubt it, but it's good to find
parameters of peace where everybody neglects to find. Dust
off your Bible and read some...There's nothing better for
precarious times like these. Prayer conquers and I'll send a
"plegaria" to my team of Prayers Warriors on the web.
I'm about 7 miles from the Pacific coast
in Long Beach, California. but I'll be
watching. I'll keep you posted.
MORE on
THIS as IT COMES IN... ...meanwhile, turn up your PC's
speakers,
pick up your Bible, sit on you best recliner
and LISTEN prayerfuly to this remakably
superior version of Debussy's "Clair De Lune."
